Obsouleet is an Enigmatic Rapper born in Alaska

Raised on hatred and loneliness he found peace and solitude in his love of music.

From early Country inspirations like Hank, Willie and Garth Brooks, Obsouleet also took interest in Heavy Rock & Metal with acts such as Ozzy, Rob Zombie, ACDC, as well as Korn, Slipknot and Godsmack later on. Obsouleet’s inspiration within the genre he creates started with The Notorious B.I.G., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony & DMX.

Fast forward to today. Now going by the name Obsouleet (drawing inspiration from Jeff Hardy). In full time grind mode with music, his debut album will be dropping at the end of the year.

Obsouleet’s 3 kids are his motivation. His goal? To prove to them even though he was never taught himself how to believe in dreams, anything is possible when you believe in yourself. They are his biggest supporters and constantly remind him of who he's doing this for and why.

His southern style rap mixed in with his country/rock vocals are a perfect blend of what you didn't know you needed. It's been 13 years or so making music, but he has finally found what he needed all along. The belief in himself and now he's more dangerous than anyone thought possible. Now? He is finally doing things his way and all his hard work is finally coming to fruition.

A love song for the outcast

The final single from Obsouleet’s upcoming album “Diaries of a Nomad Vol 1: Justin Credible”, Suffocate was written as a song for those who may be a stranger to love.

SUFFOCATE

Together go to war with whoever, don’t matter the opponent
As long as you’re in my corner I can always win
Already lived a life without you,
Never wanna do it again

Obsouleet started writing poetry to soon find he was fairly good at expressing himself through words. It was an easy way to escape reality and talk about his pain without feeling ashamed.
He was embarrassed to let people know what his life was truly like behind closed doors. Until one day in 2008, he lost the one person in his life he could always depend on, his grandmother.
More like a mother to him than his own, his childhood wasn't filled with fond memories of his "parents". It was then he started to pour his heart and soul into music.

 Obsouleet’s CROWN Music Interview

Rarely will you find Obsouleet without a pair of headphones on, or hanging from his neck. No matter where he was, he carried a notebook and pen with him.
Originally part of a duo by the name of TwoFace, it wasn’t until later Obsouleet found out how fitting the name was for his duo partner. After a falling out Obsouleet took a 3 year hiatus from music, took a hard look in the mirror, and realized music was just something he did, it was who he was.
He has never felt more at home than he does when he’s recording in a studio, or performing on a stage.
